The past grain chamber and the museum located in the medieval tower of the city fortifications, presents itself as a gem of the Kitzbühel cultural memorials. Selected exhibits and audiovisual illustrations guide the visitor from the Bronze Age mining of around 1000 BC, through the cityâ�™s history and the peopleâ�™s life, up to tourism and winter sport with the legendary Kitzbühel ski team of Toni Sailer.
The Alfons Walde Gallery, with over 30 large-format pictures, displays the largest publicly accessible collection of Kitzbühel expressionists.
